The youth parish council organised a litter pick throughout the village on Saturday morning with support from South Somerset District Council who provided the required safety equipment, gloves, high vis jackets,litter pickers and sacks. Over 10 bags of rubbish was collected. The young people where helped by Mandy and Gordon from the Parish council and Kim from the Youth Club. The event was sponsored and about £130 was raised to go towards projects within the village. It is hoped to have further litter picks through out the year to try and keep Ilton a tidy place.
