Hunting at the Airfield

This is the hunt (early 1960s) The Taunton Vale Foxhounds riding through the aerodrome after it had been abandoned. The site was an excellent source of foxes, I understand - except the devious animals had the sense to burrow near the ammunition dump - and an even better one for hares which loved the open grassland. The Harrier pack pursued them on foot.
