Ilton Youth Club
We meet every Monday evening during term time from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the village hall. We have just been given a grant for £326.00 which we will put towards some new games equipment, possibly a Play station or X Box!!!
So come along and help us spend your money. We already have Pool, Table Football, Table Tennis and now Air Hockey. There are plenty of boxed games and craft activities so there is always plenty to do.
If you are 8 years and over feel free to join us. It costs just £1.50 a night at present. There is also a tuck shop. Your first night is free.
We are always looking for any parents who would like to help. If you have a couple of hours free on a Monday night and fancy a game of pool or be creative then ring me, June on 01460 55845. It doesn?t have to be every week Back to top
Coffee Pot
Do please come along to the Memorial Hall for tea, coffee and biscuits
and have a friendly chat with old and new friends on alternate Tuesdays.

Whist Drives
Whist Drives are held in the Memorial Hall every fortnight.

All proceeds are for the Village Hall.

Parish Council
The Parish Council meets every month. An opportunity is usually made available for Parishioners questions between 7.30pm and 8.00pm. This is to enable members of the community to raise any issues that may concern them. The clerk is Mr Micheal King who can be contacted on 01460-281909. See notice board for dates of meetings.

Footpaths
There are a number of very pleasant walks around the village on public footpaths. Most of these are marked with posts. They are walked regularly to check if they are accessible and all the gates are in good order. A map showing the footpaths and rights of way around Ilton is available from Mr C.Carden on 52582. Ilton Mothers and Toddlers
Tuesdays at 2.00pm until 3.00pm, Thursdays at 1.30pm until 3.00pm.

We meet at Merryfield Pre-School which is situated on the school base in Copse Lane.

Come and join us for a coffee and a chat while the children enjoy playing with the numerous toys and games or arts and crafts.

Merryfield Pre-School at Ilton
We are a small but friendly group registered with Ofsted, which means we now accept the Government funded vouchers. We are also running five sessions per week Monday to Friday from 9.00am until 1.00pm.
Your child will grow and learn through various stimulating activities and play with us.

Merryfield pre-school is situated on the school base at Ilton in Copse Lane.

Mobile Library
The recent Parish Plan Survey showed that many people where unaware of the Mobile Library that visits Ilton every three weeks.
The dates it is due to visit are:-
Sept 29th, Oct 20th, Nov 10th, Dec 1st, Dec 22nd, Jan 12th, Feb 2nd, Feb 23rd, Mar 16th, Apr 6th.
The times and places it can be found are as follows:-
2:55-3:05pm-----Merryfield Lane.
3:10-3:20pm-----Wyndham Arms.
3:25-3:40pm-----Copse Lane.
3:45-4:00pm-----Penny?s Mead.
4:05-4:35pm-----Spurwells.

Memorial Hall Fundraising
Over the next few months there will be a full program of fund raisers from all organisations in the village, so read on and make dates in your diaries!!


Saturday 17th September Craft Fayre in the village hall from 10am?3pm. Entry is 50p which includes a cup of tea or coffee. Lots of stalls to browse around, Jewellery, Plants, garden stall, Cards, Hair braids, Knitwear, our own village table with contributions from parishioners Plus lots more. Come along and see what interests you. If you have any enquiries please phone Sheila on 57309.

Friday 10th October Instead of a Coffee morning we?re having a Coffee Evening!! This will be in the village hall at 7:30pm. Details will be posted nearer the time.

Saturday 18th October New!! Jazz is coming to Ilton!! We are putting on a jazz concert in the church for the first time and it looks like a stomping good night. You will be listening to Bob Reynolds New Society Jazz Band who play traditional New Orleans jazz. Their show will be from 7:30-10pm with an interval break from 8:30-9:00pm, during which time we will serve tea, coffee and biscuits- all inclusive in the ticket price of £5.00. Sunday 23rd October---New! Wake up to the tasty aroma of English breakfast coming from the Cricket Club. Yes- we?re cooking breakfasts with the full monty on the menu. Get your taste buds going with a refreshing glass of Orange juice then tuck into fried egg, bacon, fried bread, mushrooms, sausage, tomato and beans then finish off with toast and marmalade with a cup of tea or coffee. All this for just £3.50 There?s lots of interest in this, so book your table now if you like or just turn up on the day. Breakfasts will start at 8.00am with last bookings being taken at 11.15am. Saturday 19th November?Need those extra stocking fillers for Christmas??well come along to a Body Shop party at 43 Copse Lane starting at 7:30pm. We?ll have some fun, some demonstrations, some drinks, plenty of browsing and trying of products and lots more. We will look forward to seeing you- any enquiries please phone June on 55845.


Saturday 3rd December?This is still to be confirmed, but we are hoping to have a Christmas evening in the Church. We?re hoping to have an evening of Christmas music and Carols with a band and a choir, mince pies, mulled wine, tea or coffee and ?switching? the lights on the Christmas Tree.
